The Fifth District line of Monk’s Road Bourbons is a limited release series of rotating spirits that pay tribute to the historic distilleries of the fifth tax district. Our second release in the Fifth District Series pays homage to F.M. Head Distillery\, which our DSP number 47 is derived from. This expression honors F.M. Head as an exceptional 8-year-old high rye bourbon finished with a secondary toasted barreling. \nRattle and Snap – the forgotten Southern game of chance. More than a few fortunes were won and lost on this risky Southern diversion. \nSo\, when it comes to making whiskey\, when it comes to taking risks\, and when it comes to boldly doing things our own way\, you could say we were born into it. \nAlso Try their Gins.   Dry Gin – Our essential gin is a unique offering from the Kentucky hills of Nelson County\, with a delicate balance of distinctly complementary botanicals. We’ve married watermelon rind with zests of orange and lemon for a bright and fresh flavor-creating the perfect gin for all seasons and palates. Sip it slowly and neat or dress it up in a cocktail. This palate pleaser possesses an air of refinement. \nAnd Barrel Finished Gin – Utilizing our bourbon barrels\, we handcrafted this barrel-finished gin in homage to the rolling Kentucky hills we call home\, allowing fresh botanicals coriander\, cranberry\, juniper\, and nutmeg to develop and mature into the perfect flavor profile. Whether sipped on its own or used as a base for creative cocktails\, it adds a touch of sophistication to any celebration. \nNeither of us have any winemaking experience but we have leveraged our shared experiences and passion to turn Renegade Lemonade into a thriving \, rapidly expanding Global business.
