DESCRIPTION:Telsón Tequilas are handcrafted with 100% Weber Blue Agaves from the Highlands of Jalisco\, Mexico. Each agave takes roughly seven years to ripen to the perfect sugar content. Highly skilled jimadors strip away the leaves to reveal the heart of the plant\, the piña. We slowly roast our agave piñas in traditional brick ovens for 48 hours at our facility El Patriota Distillery – NOM 1589. After carefully Tahona crushing the cooked piñas\, the resulting agave juice mixture is fermented using Champagne yeast and finally double distilled. Telsón Reposado goes on to age for four months in our handmade French Oak barrels and Telsón Añejo ages for fourteen months in French Oak barrels.

SUMMARY:Le Paradou French Wines
DESCRIPTION:Le Paradou is a project created by Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière whose family produce some of the most respected wines in the Ventoux at Château Pesquié. It is reasonable to think “Paradou” means “Paradise” in the old language of the langue d’Oc\, as it is magical to live in the south of France. Yet\, “Paradou” actually refers to the old watermills that once dotted the landscape. In homage to these majestic giants\, once commonplace throughout Provence and the Southern Rhône\, the Chaudière brothers have created these fresh and pleasing wines made to capture the essence of their birthplace. They source their grapes for these cuvées from some of their younger vines in the Ventoux and through a small network of growers off the beaten track in the rugged regions to the east and west of the Rhône Valley. The vines\, ranging in age from 10 to 60 years old\, and are cultivated following the laws of Terra Vitis\, an organization that ensures that properties respect the environment by stressing the benefits of integrated farming. In 2022 they will have secured enough long-term contracts to ensure all the Paradou wines are made from grapes where they control the farming so that by 2025 Le Paradou will be certified organic. \nThe Paradou vineyards are at higher elevations and planted on poor clay-limestone or sandy soils. This guarantees the freshest and most drinkable wines possible. The varietal range is comprised of a Rolle\, a Viognier\, two Cinsaults (Rosé & Rouge)\, and Grenache Noir. They feel that these are the signature varieties that best showcase the rugged region between the Rhône Valley and the Côte d’Azur. They prefer sites that are sheltered and avoid vineyards that face fully south. Winemaking is simple\, uncomplicated\, and conducted in stainless steel tanks or concrete vats to preserve these wines’ aromatic charms and crunchy fruit flavors. If you’ve ever had the pleasure to travel to Provence in summer\, sit outside at a patio restaurant and enjoy the local food and wine\, then you know exactly what Fred and Alex aim to achieve with Le Paradou.

They want\, and deserve\, something more. \n\n\nSay hello to KickStand\, the world’s first canned beverage dedicated solely to creating perfectly balanced\, totally crushable spiced cocktails. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn December 2021\, in a bar on the Lower East Side of Manhattan\, Darren Rovell had been drinking cucumber jalapeno cocktails when he realized each drink tasted differently with a range of spice levels. Ruling out inconsistent bartending\, Rovell realized it was the jalapeno itself – nearly impossible to guarantee the consistency of each jalapeno. \nWith consumer trends toward spicy foods and beverages rising\, Rovell married industry data\, along with consumer trends and palettes and determined the canned cocktail market was missing a spicy canned cocktail that is predictable and consistent. \n​The drink had to pair well with food\, allow for consumers to drink several in a single sitting without their mouth overheating\, and toned-down carbonation in order to make the cocktail drinkable. Knowing that the word “spice” can be intimidating\, the drinks had to be “crushable\,” reiterating the smoothness and drinkability of KickStand Cocktails.

SUMMARY:Corralejo Tequilla
DESCRIPTION:Hacienda Corralejo is the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costillo\, renowned for launching the Mexican War of Independence. It was the first estate in Mexico to produce tequila as a commercial venture\, and as such\, we are among only a chosen few tequila distilleries granted the right to produce tequila in a province other than Jalisco. \nAll of our tequilas go through the Charentais method of double distillation\, rare in the tequila industry. The first distillation takes place in a continuous still\, or column still. The second distillation takes place in an Alembic copper pot still\, imported from Tomelloso\, Spain. The second distillation results in tequila that is refined and wonderfully aromatic. \nWhile our Blanco is unaged and bottled fresh from the Hacienda’s distillery\, Corralejo Reposado and Añejo are both aged in charred oak barrels\, for four months and one year respectively\, which imparts additional spice flavors and a beautiful golden hue.

SUMMARY:La Gritona Tequila
DESCRIPTION:La Gritona Reposado Tequila is a subtle rested tequila distilled by Melly Barajas and her staff of women at her small distillery in Valle De Guadalupe\, Jalisco (NOM 1533). Melly distills La Gritona only with agave that has matured\, always with an age of between 8-10 years\, and all of her piñas must originate in the iron-rich red soil of the local Jalisco highlands. These agave plants are cultivated at the height of their sugar production\, near the end of the life cycle. They are put into ovens within 24 hours of trimming. La Gritona IS and ALWAYS has been additive-free. \nMelly’s agave is first steam cooked in two thick-walled earthen ovens for 24 hours and then allowed to rest for another 24 hours before crushing. The collected liquid is naturally fermented and oxygenated in open steel vats at a rate that is dictated by the local air temperature. Once fermentation is completed\, we distill our nascent blanco tequila twice. We rest the distilled blanco in reused American whiskey barrels (Jack Daniels and Balcones) for 8 months before bottling. \nOur reposado is very pale in it’s color for a tequila with an 8 month barrel rest. We  use the same barrels over and over again to allow for them to become stripped of most of the residual oak\, whiskey\, and color. We like for barrel notes to be as stunted as possible in our tequila. Our aging is intended only to soften and round out the blanco tequila from which La Gritona is derived\, not to introduce new notes. Our intention is to keep the verdant and crisp qualities of the original plant intact while still allowing it to age briefly in the oak. We do not use copper stills or a tahona\, and we do not diffuse or use an autoclave. Our cooked agave is crushed with a steel mill and we distill our liquid in steel stills with copper coils. Every step of production takes place under one roof and our facility is overseen by a small staff of local women that work each process from start to finish.

SUMMARY:Azul Garanza Vineyards
DESCRIPTION:Las Bardenas Reales of Navarre is an extreme place: poor and arid clay and limestone soils\, a dry climate with a wide thermic range between night and day. Due to these harsh conditions vines here produce a very limited crop but one of exceptional quality with highly-concentrated\, very small grapes. We planted fruit trees and indigenous shrubs around the vines in order to support biodiversity in this semi-desert environment. \nA few kilometers from the desert the low mountains and the Pre-Pyrenees of Navarre begin. Here we found some fabulous old Garnacha vines\, growing almost wildly amid forest and biodiversity. Most of these vines\, which are spread out in various isolated and very small parcels\, are more than 100 years old. That some had been abandoned is not a negative for us\, just the opposite: They are our most precious treasures and thanks to the invaluable support of the local vine growers\, we have been able to recover them.
