DESCRIPTION:Founders Freddy Bensch and Kevin McNerney were roommates at the University of Colorado at Boulder\, where they also worked part-time cleaning kegs at a local brewery. After graduation in 1993\, Bensch moved to California to study at the American Brewers Guild\, while McNerney went on to work in several breweries in Colorado and California\, including Rockies Brewing Company\, Avery Brewing Company and Mammoth Brewing Company.[2] Bensch visited Atlanta during the 1996 Summer Olympics and saw an opportunity to bring a West Coast style brewery to the Southeast. McNerney soon joined Bensch in Atlanta raising initial funds to open the brewery’s first location off Interstate 20 on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. \nWhere there is water there is Sweetwater .

DESCRIPTION:Broken Barrel Whiskey is distilled and sourced from the historic Owensboro Distilling Co. Eighth-Generation Master Distiller Jacob Call distills each barrel using 100% Kentucky corn sourced from local farmers. The bourbon and rye whiskey is distilled using a 54-inch Vendome™ copper column at the top of a beer still\, along with copper condensers and a copper doubler. \n​ \nOwensboro Distilling Co. has been through a distillery fire\, Prohibition\, multiple owners\, abandonment\, and a long period of dormancy before its revival in 2014. After two years of restoration and renovation\, the distillery began filling barrels in 2016. Broken Barrel believed the story and history of this distillery and has been growing alongside the distillery starting with just 9-month-old whiskey when the first bourbon was launched in 2017. \nToday\, Broken Barrel Whiskey’s core products feature aged Kentucky Straight whiskey\, denoting a minimum of two years in the barrel before even being tasted and selected for the next batch.

DESCRIPTION:Our story begins in Bologna\, Italy in 1885 where Amaro Montenegro was created by Stanisalo Cobianchi. A curious and rebellious character\, Stanislao abandoned his family’s wish for him to pursue a religious career and instead embarked on an adventure traveling the world. On his journey\, Stanislao collected the world’s finest botanicals to create a beautifully balanced amaro. Upon returning home to Bologna\, he established the Cobianchi Stanislao Steam Distillery\, where he continued to cultivate his craft of alchemy. Following years of experiments\, the alchemist succeeded and Elisir Lungavita (elixir of life) was born. \n  \nThe quality of ingredients determines the quality of the finished product. Amaro Montenegro is made from 40 botanicals\, including spices\, dried fruits\, roots\, seeds\, bark\, citrus peels\, flowers and species of wood sourced from around the world. \nOf these 40 botanicals\, only 13 are revealed and are categorized into 3 different aroma profiles: citrus\, spice\, and herbal. The perfect combination of these botanicals is what gives Amaro Montenegro its complex\, yet well-balanced flavor.
