Monks Road

June 27 | 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

It is here, along the rutted country lane to the old homeplace, where we now forge a new road at Log Still Distillery. To christen the journey, allow us to introduce Monk’s Road. Our first offering of Bourbons and Gins that embody a true reflection of our most sacred values: faith, family and community. So, with a respectful nod to the past, we propose a toast — to the road ahead. Barrel Finished Gin - Utilizing our bourbon barrels, we handcrafted this barrel-finished gin in homage to the rolling Kentucky hills we call home, allowing fresh botanicals coriander, cranberry, juniper, and nutmeg to develop and mature into the perfect flavor profile. Smooth and complex with a subtle hint of smoke, Monk's Road Barrel Finished Gin reflects the pride of the place and tradition that the Log Still family is known for. Dry Gin - Our essential gin is a unique offering from the Kentucky hills of Nelson County, with a delicate balance of distinctly complementary botanicals. We've married watermelon rind with zests of orange and lemon for a bright and fresh flavor-creating the perfect gin for all seasons and palates. Sip it slowly and neat or dress it up in a cocktail. This palate pleaser possesses an air of refinement.

Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon

June 28 | 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

How we do, what we do — and where we do it — are equally important when it comes to making bourbon. Our master distillers have over a century of experience making Kentucky Straight Bourbon the right way, The Wild Turkey way. For over 75 years, we’ve been making our whiskey at the top of Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It’s where spirited tradition and devotion to our craft come together to yield an unparalleled lineup of bourbon and rye. It starts when the Master Distiller selects the corn, rye and malted barley for distilling. We use only the best ingredients at the Wild Turkey Distillery – nothing but our specially grown, non-GMO grains, which are quality tested at four separate times. They say location is everything, and Wild Turkey distillery proudly sits atop a limestone shelf situation along the Kentucky River, allowing us to use quality Kentucky water straight from the source. The limestone naturally purifies the water of iron, and this non-acidic, limestone-filtered water is used to cook the grains during this stage, making for a better depth of flavor in our finished product. Once the malted barley is added, we introduce our sour mash – a previously fermented mash that still contains live yeast – to start a new fermentation process.

Reviews

This is the best liquor store in Hendersonville. They are large and have a large variety of all liquors. Staff are friendly and helpful. My go-to store.

This is a definite GO-TO place, hospitality was great when we were there they were giving samples of a local brand Dickel, the lady was very knowledgeable of the products, after getting over the happiness of free shots when walking in we shopped the aisles, they had everything we wanted and more, probably return for some whiskey's I'd never seen in SoCal.
