Stoneleigh wines owe much to their unique terroir. For thousands of years, the Wairau River ran through what are now our vineyards, depositing stones of all sizes. Today, our vines are planted among these sunstones, as they capture heat throughout the day and release it on to the vines, helping develop rich, intense flavours in the grapes. Started by nature and finished by the talents of the Stoneleigh winemakers, our philosophy of minimal intervention in the winery ensures that the vibrant flavours of Stoneleigh are captured in each and every bottle. Our wines are all vegan certified^* and sustainability produced¹.
