At Happenstance, we like tradition but we’re not so old fashioned. We like our manhattans with a beach, our whiskey not-so-sour and our seven and sevens don’t equal fourteen. Our founder wanted to create a brand that pays homage to the tradition of American bourbons that have come before us, but with an unexpected punch of today’s most sought out flavors. So, born was our Founder’s Edition straight bourbon whiskey - a 90 proof, cabernet-style bourbon with a complex combination of vanilla, hazelnut, toasted oak, honey and toffee notes. So smooth, we’ve won gold at the San Francisco Wine & Spirits competitions back to back years, in addition taking home gold at the Denver International Spirits Competition, SIP Awards and Beverage Testing Institute Awards. Leiper’s Fork Distillery creates high-end premium whiskeys using local ingredients, time honored techniques and pure limestone filtered water, resulting in superior whiskeys with a signature taste. It is our pledge to pour our heart and soul into every drop of whiskey we create from grain to glass. Since filling our first barrel in the Spring of 2016, our goal has been to resurrect the lost art of small batch whiskey production that was prevalent in the hills of middle Tennessee from its earliest founding. Cambio has partnered with ZB Distillery (NOM 1605) to deliver the exceptional quality and attention to detail that we insist on. After a comprehensive search of Jalisco’s distilleries, only ZB Distillery was eager to explore our innovative distilling techniques and longer production times. They’ve also been committed to our unprecedented practice of exploring secondary barrel finishes for each one of our products. Cambio utilizes a separate building on the property designed only for 100% natural artisanal process. ZB has been instrumental in allowing us to modify their distillery and aiding us in experimentation, testing, and verifiable results with their on-site modern laboratory. At Cambio, we pick our partners very carefully. Our whole Blue Weber, highland agave comes from Ruvalferti, run by the Ruvalcaba de Arandas family with a solid agricultural tradition that spans over 35 years. This organization assures that all of it's employees are Global G.A.P. certified. No matter the cost, we always insist on starting our tequila with the best piñas possible.

At its core, CAMBIO BLANCO from Jalisco provides Poral’s backbone, while COFFEE BEANS FROM CHIAPAS and CANE SUGAR FROM VERACURZ add depth and gentle sweetness.
