Côté Mas is an invitation to the heart of the Languedoc region. These wines represent the diversity of the terroirs within the same appellation but also the essence of each traditional appellation of Languedoc. They are a fusion between the winemaking tradition and the new approach to wine, represented by Jean-Claude Mas and his partner-winegrowers. He has expertly blended the best grape varieties from Languedoc, to highlight the diversity and expression of the fruits of the Mediterranean region.

C.H. Wente came to America in the late 1800s from Hamburg Germany, learned to make wine from a German by the name of Charles Krug in the Napa Valley, and in 1883 established his first 47-acre Estate and Winery. He chose the Livermore Valley as it was famed for its excellent soils and climate. In 1908, C.H. planted the first Chardonnay vines in the Livermore Valley. Our 2023 Morning Fog Chardonnay bursts with aromatics of citrus and green apple complemented by hints of toasty oak and vanilla from barrel-aging. This wine is balanced by a lingering minerality and natural acidity to create a beautiful wine. Our 2022 Sandstone Merlot is supple and beautifully balanced, showcasing aromas of ripe red cherry and plum that are complimented by creamy oak notes of sweet caramel and vanilla bean. Additional notes of white pepper, cardamom, and graphite provide more complexity and continue to develop as the wine breathes in the glas

Laroche Chardonnay is a wine produced by Domaine Laroche, a well-known wine estate in France, known for its Chablis and other Chardonnay wines. Domaine Laroche is a large landholder in Chablis, with 90 hectares of vineyards. They also produce a "Petit Chardonnay," a low-alcohol version of Chardonnay, and a "La Chevaliere" label, both of which are labeled as 100% Chardonnay, according to Wilson Daniels. The Laroche Le Petit Chardonnay is known for its aromatic, floral, and citrus notes, with a lighter structure and balanced acidity, according to Wilson Daniels. Laroche Chardonnay is also known for its bright and crisp flavors, often with citrus and fruit notes,
