A "long drink" (or lonkero in Finnish) is a popular mixed cocktail, traditionally made with gin and grapefruit soda, created in Finland for the 1952 Helsinki Olympics to serve guests quickly. It's known for being a crisp, refreshing, and easy-to-drink beverage, often sold pre-mixed in cans with various fruit flavors like cranberry or lime, and is now available globally.

For more than 30 years, Skinny has planted seeds and seedlings in his ever-expanding garden and harvested and canned fresh vegetables. Always one to try new concoctions and combinations, he experimented with dilly beans and okra creole, squash “soup” and spicy tomato juice, and any other recipe he could think up over the ensuing years. ​ About a decade ago, Skinny started getting requests for his tomato juice, aka, Bloody Mary Mix, from family and friends.
