We pride ourselves in striving to make Código 1530 the most selective tequila in the world, using only perfect inputs and age old secret family processes. We hand select the best, fully-matured agave, to ensure that with each harvest, our agave’s Brix level (sugar content) meets our high standards, for a better tasting, smooth tequila. We make each batch naturally, without any added sweeteners or colors. Each drop of Amatitán water we use is from freshwater pools and rainwater, filtered through the volcanic soil of Los Bajos. Our proprietary chopper allows us to extract only the best juice and pulp from the first press of ripe agave, to garner the purest flavor. We use local yeast to facilitate the proper fermentation process. We use the finest Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels in our time-honored family aging technique, rather than the more commonly used American whiskey barrels. This distinctive difference in our aging embraces the clean elegance of wine making, to produce a uniquely delicate finish.

THE DREAM OF HALF BATCH BREWING STARTED 20 YEARS AGO. Half Batch Brewing has its roots in the kitchen of a college apartment in Baton Rouge. That’s where, in 1995, Nate brewed his first beer. THE WHISKEY  Green River Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is 90 proof and aged onsite at some of the oldest warehouses in the state. Rich in color with a golden-amber hue, Green River is made with locally sourced corn featuring a mashbill of 70% corn, 21% winter rye and 9% malted barley. During Covid lock down, Annika Sorenstam and her husband Mike McGee started mixing drinks after being tired of all the no flavor, watered down RTD’s on the market. They wanted something with full flavor, but without all the calories and sugar in a real homemade cocktail! After months of mixing and tasting with friends, Fizzy Beez was pollinated. Annika asked her pickle ball friend and wine consultant Kathy Johanson to join the hive. The two “busy bees” who are always on the go, decided to create four ready-to-drink, classic cocktails sweetened with a touch of pure organic honey and a few other clean, simple ingredients. Both athletes, entrepreneurs, and former vintners; have many years of business experience between them, & both had charitable foundations with the mutual goal of continuing to give back and inspire others where possible!
