Leiper’s Fork Distillery creates high-end premium whiskeys using local ingredients, time honored techniques and pure limestone filtered water, resulting in superior whiskeys with a signature taste. It is our pledge to pour our heart and soul into every drop of whiskey we create from grain to glass. Since filling our first barrel in the Spring of 2016, our goal has been to resurrect the lost art of small batch whiskey production that was prevalent in the hills of middle Tennessee from its earliest founding. We are committed to employing age-old techniques that are reminiscent of Pre-Prohibition style whiskeys of a bygone era, bringing you unique whiskey profiles you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

A Passionate Pedigree Over four generations, we have been hard at work perfecting the art and craft of growing agave and distilling tequila. To this day, we instill age-old processes and values handed down from generation to generation. Every sip and every bottle represent the continuation of the very legacy we’ve worked so hard to create. El Mayor’s tradition of tequila craft starts at the roots. That’s why El Mayor is made from only the highest quality Weber Blue Agave plants, sweet succulents that thrive in the rocky lowlands of Jalisco. So, with a respectful nod to the past, we propose a toast — to the road ahead.
